Marion...
48 year old care home worker, Marion Scott, from Kilmarnock, wanted a stylish new look for her daughter, Heather's, wedding in July without looking old beyond years or worse, like mutton dressed as lamb!
You can be a sophisticated mother of the bride without looking old fashioned, Advises Karen. Shop around and visit stores you wouldn't normally go into when looking for your outfit, you may be pleasantly surprised.  Dresses are everywhere this season, and offer a modern alternative to the two piece suit. Karen chose Marion a gorgeous bronze satin dress from Cove boutique. For chillier summer evenings a delicate pashmina or beaded shawl is a glamour cover up. The metallic look is still really hot just now, says Karen, however the warm copper tones in this dress are much more flattering than the starker silver and gold's on the high street. Sexy, sparkly heels with co-ordinating clutch bag and shimmering beaded bracelets pull the whole look together complementing Marion's sun kissed complexion and blonde highlights.
The result is a chic polished look perfect for a modern mother of the bride.

Heather...
Hairdresser, Heather Scott, 24, is no stranger to fashion working in one of Kilmarnock's most prestigious salons, and was keen to try something different for her wedding to Jonathan Eccrici this summer. Karen chose a beautiful cream coloured gown from Diane Honeymoon, which looked stunning on our naturally gorgeous bride. A fitted bodice gives Heather's slim frame definition and the pearl beaded embroidery on the neckline highlights her features. The ruffles of duchess satin and long train are simply stunning, creating a fairytale look befitting a princess. A simple heart necklace made from Swarovski Crystal catches the light and is in keeping with the romantic image. Heather's long dark hair was swept up in a natural soft style, with a few tendrils left to frame her face. A bejewelled tiara and opulent cathedral length veil completes Heather's breathtakingly beautiful bridal look.
